I know there are people with a condition called "pedophile OCD" where they have this intense fear and this intrusive idea that they are actually secretly pedophiles, or that they will become pedophiles. I'm pretty sure that's not what's going on though.

Yeah, it's strange. All the pedophiles I've seen on Nost, and there are a lot hiding out there, are complete degenerate idiots and channers.

Seeing you have at least a bit of honesty in not wanting to follow her because of those thoughts is curious and even somewhat respectable in a way. If you feel bad about being like that and try to avoid and fight it, yes, it's strange, but respectable

I didn't say I felt bad about it, I just don't want people to get mixed up.

To me, hiding on the internet is the strange thing. Maybe they feel insecure? Maybe their info-sec sucks? Either way it irritates me when people act like pedo detectives because if your platform is any good then you ought to be able to just ask.

I blame all the stupid pedophiles and all the stupid non-pedophiles on the lack of dialogue between the two.

I unironically believe that the insults launched at pedophiles would be a lot more hurtful and personal if people could see the reactions of real pedophiles.

Bans and mutes are a crutch that holds back innovation.
