No. It is not. (Yet?) This goes well beyond archives of old things.
There will be dedicated relays for the purpose. nostr:nprofile1qqsggm4l0xs23qfjwnkfwf6fqcs66s3lz637gaxhl4nwd2vtle8rnfqprdmhxue69uhhg6r9vehhyetnwshxummnw3erztnrdakj7qfqwaehxw309ahx7um5wghx26tww4hxg7nhv9h856t89eehqctrv5hsz5xkmf runs relays for what is published to the forrest relay (in the kinds that #alexandria supports), but this is open source so you can spin up your own as anonymously as you can and thus you can publish anything at any time without much in the way of censorship.
#Alexandria also reads and writes to the user's relays (from their npub profile's relay list), and our relays broadcast/pull from lots of other relays, on the backend. The events can be published to any almost any relay.
If you don't login, our default relays are used, such as wss://theforest.nostr1.com.
We archive old things (including things we've downloaded from other archives), but you can also write something new and publish it as Nostr notes.
