For flights this week? Lots of Hong Kongers returning from

their easter holidays. I expect that to subside a bit but for most of summer Hong Kong airport will continue to struggle to rebuild its capacity

The main option for Mainland Chinese to get in and out of China right now is to fly to Shenzhen, walk over the border then fly international from HK. This will take a few months to resolve, maybe longer.

I think the (AI-driven?) booking systems are still normalizing. Totally different pricing given in different countries (for same flight), return ticket can be cheaper than one-way, ticket in 3 weeks dramatically cheaper than next week, and so on. I have been able to find good deals.
