Been accumulating lots of blu ray movies for the kids lately. We have the streamings (no for much longer), but they get a yuge kick out of looking at the front/back cover and inserts, talking about it among each other, and putting the discs in the player. This experience is lost with streaming only.
finding a dvd at a garage sale or in a sale bin somewhere becomes fun. 🙂
watching it becomes a fun event. make special popcorn, watch as a family… the kind of thing lifelong memories are made of.
i dont remember the movies, but i sure remember family movie nights.
Yes! 🙌 just today they asked if we can do popcorn and Friday night movie nights at home every friday…. Heck yes we can!
