I caught a redfish and my very first speckled trout yesterday. I tried for a flounder, to complete the Texas Slam, but nada. #fishing #texas

These were both caught on live pogy (menhaden) and were released.

Both caught on a 7' glass rod, 2500 size reel with 20lbs braid, under a popping cork with a 4-5' florocarbon leader, size 1 circle hook.
