Which is the best way to discard failed cold wallet hardware?

It may not work for us but in those hand that know how to repair, can they excess our hardware wallet?

Since the wallet is in ready to send and does not require key to open it. Someone could just enter their to send addresses to receive it.

Ever think of such overlook danger?

Did i wrong somewhere here?

My personal opinion would be, to hammer the whole hardware wallet, especially the inside chips is destroy before we discarded it.

Or burn to destroy it.

Do you think is the right way?

Either use a Passphrase or destroy it with fire

Agree, Passphrase is one option, I believe fire and make sure the chips is destroy is one real important.

With time, technology may evolve to that we dont know.
