You have Bison and bears also in that category, dangerous enough not to be hunted easy, like a Ground Sloth.
That's a good point.
I don't believe the narrative though that the megafauna were hunted to extinction. Considering that there were mammoths flash frozen with undigested food in their stomachs, that's simply observably untrue.
I tend to think there was a cataclysm that caused the bulk of the more recent extinctions.
True, definitely more than hunting.
