Charity at the point if a gun can't really be called charity. It's redistribution of wealth. Charity is when an individual takes what they have and willingly gives it to their fellow man. Maybe it's a good cause, maybe it's not, but it's voluntary and sacrificial.

The secondary consequence of charity is shysters (or the genuine) collecting funds from the willing (still voluntary) in order to better serve the needy. They skim some off the top in order to make it happen. Corporateized charity.

Third order effect (or maybe another second) is when politicians see the money to be made and start mandating it in the form of welfare. Not charity, just theft.
