Pavel Durov, founder of Telegram, is effectively being detained in France, under a legal fog so dense even he can’t explain it.

In an interview with Tucker Carlson, Durov described a surreal ordeal: no direct accusations, no transparency, just months-long forced stays in France based on the implication that some users of Telegram may have done bad things.
