the anchor id is from the event you are replying? why expose this id. it it can make other's know that what am I reading.

If the client wants others to render the draft inline in the thread, they have to add it. Otherwise, they need to download ALL kind 1 drafts and manually search for drafts of the current thread. Adding the anchor is the option of the client.
