I'm mostly familiar with Bret, and while long-winded, etc., I give him credit for slowly opening his eyes to the corruption in academia and peer-reviewed science (aka The Science ™️). Maybe he doesn't check all the boxes for you, but the fact is, he's speaking out when so many others remain silent. He's finally on the "don't trust, verify" path; isn't that worth something?

What’s the corruption? Why would academia care about who is heard or not? This is the typical “they are after me” bs
Wow, I didn't even use the word "they". Academia and science, like everything else, needs funding. And fiat money corrupts everything... except academia and science? How can you be that naive?
Try this..

I don’t care enough tbh.
People always recommend books, but books and opinions are plenty. Not all books are good books, many are dumb. Maybe this is one of them, or maybe not, I don’t have the time to investigate. I’m still reading another book to debunk the last guy I argued with 🤣 jk, I don’t do that. People on the internet are always right.
I agree. Your focus is where it needs to be. Push forward and ignore whatever distracts you. Build the future.
