Itâs curious: outside Italy there are people who appreciate and share my art, while at home I remain almost invisible.
Often those who know you closely â family, friends, neighbors â are the first to downplay or overlook your merits, while strangers are more likely to offer respect and admiration.
Perhaps itâs true: no one is a prophet in their own land.
But thatâs fine. Art travels freely, without borders, and always finds the eyes that know how to see.
