Baby boomers are the only generation to be financially better off than both their parents and their kids.

Consider what this means.

If you’re a young person, know that the olde 60/40 saving method that worked for your parents won’t work for you.

#Bitcoin will.

60% bitcoin

40% stocks

could work well though

It means we peaked

It means they had it easier despite all their gaslighting about how much harder it was back then

LMAO. That’s not gaslighting, that’s a fact.

It’s a fact that it was harder for boomers growing up?

Yes

Ok boomer

I’m actually Gen X, but thank you for confirming you’re not capable of being anything other than someone’s parrot. 🤣

Okay boomer keep gaslighting no one takes your generation seriously anymore

Well, I can see that reading comprehension isn’t a skill you have mastered yet either, so I will end it there. Buy bye

Bye boomer don’t lose all your money to Amazon gift card scammers 😂

Gen X is faring better than Millennials, true. However, they still control far less wealth than Baby Boomers did at their age.

Acknowledging this fact is not about blaming anyone. Rather, it’s about coming to terms with where we are, and where we’re heading as a civilization, so we may correct course.

FWIW, the fiat system is more to blame than the decisions of individual boomer citizens.

A healthy civilization improves from generation to generation.

That’s now what we’ve experienced these past decades.

I was talking about boomers having it easier and this clown came in saying they had it harder (even though he’s gen x). But alright man it’s clearly way easier to buy a home and start a family today than it was in the 80s 🤡. Okayyyy boomer don’t forget to take your meds 😂

Well, if your only proof that they had it easy, is a meme, it’s kind of difficult to take anything you say seriously, LMFAO.

Yes, things cost a lot less back then, but you also made a lot less as well. They also didn’t have the benefit of our current technology. How about you go outside, touch some grass, than fuck all the way off, back to your mom’s basement.

Funny that you criticized my reading comprehension when you can’t even use “than” and “then” correctly. Did you even finish school boomer or do you just have brain rot from statins?

I showed you real statistics. Being able to google facts or watch cat videos on your phone doesn’t make your life easier when the average home today is 6-7x the average annual salary. Since you’re probably bad at math, the average home was about 2.5x the average salary in 1971. So yeah life was objectively easier back then because you could get an average job and buy a home relatively quickly.

My, you really are a sad little man child. You’ll pardon me if I put you back on mute, I thought maybe you would have something relevant to say and that was my mistake.

Take care, kid. When you head back upstairs, make sure to tell your parents that we are proud of you for using your words.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, proper grammar and reading comprehension are two completely different things. You would know that if you could actually comprehend anything.

Autocorrect changed one word, you still think I’m a boomer because you’re so easy to make a fool out of. Do I need to draw a picture for you? LMMFAO

Mic drop, see ya…

Autocorrect doesn’t change “then” and “than” you fucking moron 😂

Take your meds and go back to sleep boomer.

Quit whining.

Where do you get this info? No way this is universally true

Look it up. It’s a fact.

(To clarify, I am only referring to American history. I’m sure there are examples of some generations being better off than their parents and kids if you go way back in time, such as just before the black plague)

Ok, I'll take a dive hehe.

It is, in the West at least.

It has to be pretty sad to watch it go downhill so quickly

Materially speaking, yes. But it made us wiser than our parents and stand by our grandparents' side.

You probably know the saying "Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times..." and so on.

Yesss!! I love that saying and now these good times have created weak men. Ahhh. I am glad there were some benefits though. I am sure there are still some great people around that will survive the bad times

They were also dumber and more naive than the previous and following generation. So it evens out.
