Ordinal theory is an immediate term Layer 2 technology that will have a medium term impact on Layer 0 and potentially (but hopefully not) a long term impact on Layer 1.

When considering anything that touches Layer 0 and Layer 1, skepticism and clear education are warranted.

So far, 99% of the public discourse has been focused on Inscriptions and their impact on block space.
