My 30 year old dryer still works great. My new landlord pointed out how old it is and asked if it needed to be replaced.

Hell no. It's a feature. It actually gets my clothes dry. The alarm on it is spectacularly ridiculous too.

Considering an offer to buy it from him when we get a house. 😂

My father has one in this ballpark too. Have replaced the heating element and the belt on it multiple times. Cant kill it.

Would never dream about doing that with a modern machine.

For real, the best dryer I've ever had , had one option which was a time dial and it just worked, all the time and was ancient. Nowadays your going through dryers every 2 years.
