Have to try it next time in the country. Last time I didn’t give it a chance because I didn’t want to download another 3rd party app (Qerko) on my phone just to pay with bitcoin.

Sure, and that’s definitely one of the issues currently. But more and more places are accepting bitcoin right out.
I think Qerko has been successful in orange pilling quite a few places.
But for me it allows me to pay in bitcoin pretty much everywhere I frequent, which is great.
