Soo why would I use this as oppose to just sending the sats ? For privacy?

It has much lower overhead for the end user and can be used like cash.

Also, as the mint is blinded and doesn't see the movement of tokens. So its good privacy.

Basically custodial Lightning but with a better user experience.

This what ecash looks like, if you have an app with a cashu wallet you can claim these sats.
