After extensive testing and experimentation, GHEE is the best fat to use for cooking eggs in a cast iron.
Yields best taste with little stickage without hitting the smokepoint.
We don't always disagree but butter or bacon fat! Ghee smells weird

I agree Ghee's smell is unique, but it reminds me of Annie's Mac&cheese so I like it that much more haha.
Butter and bacon fat are great. Just finished cooking up bacon for the wifey's caseroul and set aside all the left over fat for use later 🤘
