I set up the #Nostr relay on nostr:npub1aghreq2dpz3h3799hrawev5gf5zc2kt4ch9ykhp9utt0jd3gdu2qtlmhct to backup my notes and other stuff. Then I used this tool to backup all my old events.

A nice side effect is that all of my old posts show up instantly in Amethyst, rather than being limited to more recent stuff

Thats pretty cool, so the concept is a new relay is unaware of old notes and this tool pulls them and essentially rebroadcasts them to the net new relay? 😎🤙

Yes. You give it a list of relays, it collects all the events for your npub, then broadcasts them back to all the relays. Worked fantastic. Some of my earliest notes are gone, but the bulk are there.
