Nostr Web Client

Kinda sucks that my industry (marketing) is so heavily dependant on Google for reach, rankings, and results. SEO has Google in mind, sitemap indexing, search visibility, etc. To go clean, you are guaranteed to drop your discoverability by potential clients and a SEO dev will do 3x the work for a fraction of the results.

I can market this service as "Fast, Sovereign, Clean markup, cookie-free, privacy-first", but the reality is that given the option to degoogle vs make more money, you'd maybe find a handful of people on the planet that don't choose the latter. Maybe it's just a matter of pitching it towards virtue and conscience lol..

Is this just because everybody uses Google to do searches? There are so many search engines out there that are just as good.

Because Google is the giant in the room. Everyone else has their own indexing options but the vast majority of the market share is taken by Google.

Most people on nostr are adamantly opposed to ads but I think they should be rethought in the age of nostr - like decentralizing what google does.

I would have assumed that AI tools are using resources discovered via search engines and this would recommend the top performers.

No. It's a matter of foresight. Those who degoogle their lives are the future 1%er able to afford your products.

You are preparing yourself vfir the future. Else you'll die soon enough with the left over of the fiat economy.
