I've said it before. I'll say it again: the political will necessary to slow down, let alone reverse, the growth of US debt is absent. Trump will not do it. DOGE will fail to do it. Musk will leave frustrated.
Argentina's Milei has proven that it can be done, but it requires a clarity of purpose and political will that no politician in the US is close to having.
The US will print.
