Realizing that my house is a consumer good has been the best thing about owning Bitcoin. I no longer freak out when a kid draws on the floor with crayons. This place is not an investment and I do not expect a return on it. It is a place to live. That is all. As long as my income exceeds my expenses, any excess gets saved in Bitcoin. If something bad happens and my expenses exceed my income, I will sell Bitcoin to cover the gap. That is my financial plan. The whole thing.
