Does anyone know of an app that can read the QR code of an image in the same way the camera can?

The number of times I've taken a photo of my screen to then scan it from the device where the image sits is crazy.

If you use an iPhone, save image, go to photos and long press, the LNURL shows and you can copy it. If the QR code is for a website, it also allows you to go straight to the link on safari.

There’s a few Lightning wallets that support this. Wallet of Satoshi and Zebedee both do.

It looks like this works in Zeus too.

Also, Google Lens.

From wired:

Sometimes the QR code you want to scan is on a website on your phone screen. Google has added Google Lens functionality into the Chrome browser, and you can use it on an Android phone or iPhone with these steps:

Tap and hold on the QR code image.

A menu should pop up. Select Search With Google Lens.

Tap the notification that pops up to open the link. (You will need to be connected to the internet to do this).

This can also be done from Google Photos, and the Google App.

Some wallets have this option built in.

Breez for example let's you choose a picture from your photos app

Pretty sure Zeus has this option as well (can't check right now)

So it looks like WoS, Breeze & Zeus all support this already, you just need to look for it.

Thanks folks - that's really helpful!
