In the village of Brazi, Wallachia, Theodosie lived a life of simple faith. When Ottoman soldiers demanded he renounce his Christianity and embrace Islam, he refused steadfastly. Despite brutal torture, he would not deny Christ. The soldiers, enraged by his unyielding faith, beheaded him in 1694. His martyrdom became a testament to unwavering devotion.
