When I use my iPhone it feels like I can't do anything useful besides download unique to Apple apps. iOS is so restricted many of the best apps for downloading music and YouTude are not available. Can't even plug the device into my computer and interact with it. Android helps a phone run like a computer.

Agreed, iPhone feels like a toy

Indeed it does.

Crush Ur Iphone With A Brick January

There are a few apps I will keep it for, but thats about it. As much as Android is more computerish, there are things I can do with iPhone I cant on Android.

It’s because they designed it so every idiot can use a fairly safe phone + ecosystem with out having to be tech savvy.

Can anyone give me a way to have the Apple ecosystem with out apple?

💯

I think the best way is use the iphone without signing into apple id. No app store.

Don't they force you to register an apple ID with a phone number to use the phone

No you can 💯 skip this. Just no app store or apple services. You can actually still use imessage and facetime, just with your phone number as contact only.

No app store, no .apk files, just use the phone to hammer nails

A browser is so powerful it makes app seem silly. Webapps are king always and forever.

Apps are just easier to use.

I know. Comes with the price of apple spying though. Those apps on the app store can be tampered with

Apple can spy on me apple shit all they want, just have good opsec.

No graphene os uses can give me an answer to the apple ecosystem.

If they spy you have bad opsec

No you let them spy, they only see what you want.

Wish that were true
