Yes. A few years ago Germany send their own editors to Fort Knox who were refused access to audit the German reserves. As a result Germany requested "some" of their gold to be returned to be stored with the Bundesbank. After several months Germany received "a part" of the requested gold. However, those bars came from France and DID NOT bear the Bundesbank stamp. In my opinion the German reserves already do not exist.
