Something wild happens inside your body as someone is trying to buy your morals and ethics, especially if you're sure you can get away with it (it is never the case tho). It's very hard to describe the feeling if you haven't been there, but the one's who've experienced this first hand can testify for it. Only then you get to see what you're made of. It is nevertheless a test and most fail it. The temptation is really big because greed is eternal. No matter how much you already have, the fiat brain can't enjoy the current blessings, it is distracted by what's missing from their life - resulting in a continuous pursuit for material possessions, the respect of their peers and the validation from the ones sitting above. Judge a man not for what he's worth, but for what he rejected in exchange of doing bad stuff. In contrast, good deeds are done in silence and preferably anonymously. Be cautious not to humiliate the one you're trying to help out and choose them carefully, because chances are they'll hate you for it. It is what it is.

Have a great weekend and enjoy the planets aligning today! 💜

Well said! You nailed it.

“Judge a man not for what he's worth, but for what he rejected in exchange of doing bad stuff.”

People aren’t praised enough for what they rejected. Too much “well you were supposed to do that.”

You do good because you want to do it, not for the praise. I'd take constructive criticism over compliments anyday.

Exactly! But doesn’t hurt to give and get praise. I see it as encouraging doing good. Id take both everyday😂

We all act because we believe that action is in our best interest.

I've come to believe through experience that any action I take from fear or greed never ends well. Even those few times where it appears to have gone well, the benefit gained is somewhat hollow.

Every scammer knows that fear or greed are the 2 emotions most likely to successfully engage their mark.

By not acting from fear or greed you also make yourself largely immune to scammers.

When you judge a man, you also judge yourself. That's not to say you shouldn't be discerning.
