How far did you get with it?

I made some classic card games in C++ (in terminal, not gui) and later made some simple flash & java games

I studied something else for college but now write SQL for a living

Yeah making C++ produce anything visual is definitely not an entry point

It was a transforming experience. When I realised "Wait, I can type in some text and my computer does what I want? Awesoooome!"
