Interesting. I was able to zap you through Primal and it pulled from my Hub.

it looks like your LN address is not bound to your receiving on your hub

yes i run a hub too, i rent one from alby, lazy mans node

Huh, maybe it depends on which client(s) you're interacting through?

yeah, i see your address when i look at your profile but the zap icon is dimmed on both nostrudel and coracle

update: i seemed to zap you on this post i am replying to

No, I noticed what you were experiencing so I reverted my address back to the getalby one. I think that squared it away.

I'm still puzzled how some worked for the Speed address and some didn't like you mentioned. I assume its tied to whatever method Speed uses and that being supported but not 100% sure.

i think it was just the transition, the kind 0 user metadata has to be in everyone's client for them to see it

i have done a lot of work with distributed systems and statistical analysis and digital data has that nebulous state transition problem

in the CAP theorem the C is for Consistency which means that every node sees the same thing at the same time

bitcoin is a "probabalistic consistency" protocol, it has a definite random propagation rate and the actual confirmation itself is a poisson point process meaning it's like rain falling out of the sky, you never know when it's gonna land in your eye
