Transfering phones has remined me just how much bullshit we collect on our phones. Its asinine. Contatcs, chat backups, app databases.
Its even more stupid if your degoogled and keep as much data as you can on your phone.
Nextcloud and Standard Notes fix this

I use nextcloud for a lot of shit but its still a pain in the ass.
It takes care of contacts, calendar, photos and backups across all devices pretty well.
