I want to see a major athlete whose long term contract is adjusted for global M2 expansion.

A lot of soccer players in Europe sign 8+ year contracts. I think the purpose is so the transfer or signing on fees can be amortized over the length of the contract to comply with financial regulations. I would be absolutely shocked if they are not adjusted for true inflation in some way or another.
