Just got my trees from rare plant store. That changes my plans for the day.
White mulberry, lacebark elm, hybrid willow, persimmon, and shumard oak. 46 trees to plant.

Good luck with the planting dude.
Got them in just as it got dark. I mulched them with partially composted chicken bedding with a bunch of sticks and leaves. I used a headlamp to water them in.
At the roadside spring I taught some guy about fodder trees and coppicing/ pollarding. I let him fill his jugs because I was getting many gallons. He ended up staying until I was done. Seems like he will research it more.
This fool was not expecting such a serious day 😀
That makes at least three of us on here 🙂

Most of the bareroot trees I planted this year are doing great. I only watered when I planted them. This has been a good year for rain.
