I'm starting to get even more subborn myself. If that's even possible. I've been cutting off all these energy vampires in every way I can. It's brutal, in a metal way. I'm just cutting them off. It hasn't happened yet, but I'm real frikkin close to going unbanked on purpose. I've cut my ties to the grid in substantial life changing ways. It's fucking great.

People don't actually put up with it at all. They simply choose to disregard it altogether. I mean they just chose not to look, and walk around with blinders on thinking they'll never trip, get eaten by predators, or sucked into empty husks by those leeches in your note.
