Looking to acquire one of these bad boys. 1950s Primus no. 71. Gasoline, single burner. Say what you want.. but newer tech isn’t always better.
I have an MSR pocket rocket in my day bag.. hoping this will replace it. Isobutane is convenient but damn the cells are expensive.
How does it work ? I mean I’ve see kerosene burners where you have to create pressure with a pump, is it the same ?

No pump. Self pressurizes. The heat from this flame warms the burner assembly, causing fuel in the tank to vaporize and build pressure.
Interesting setup
Fewer moving parts for sure. Looking forward to playing with one.
