Modern people are too subservient. I say the man and the woman are on the same footing and should delegate decisions as fit, be rational, be consistent, discuss, and respect each other. This usually looks like the guy having final say of a lot of things, because guys tend to have those things figured out better and a good wife knows it and let's him. It's consent. Anarchy and personal responsibility solve the family just as well as the markets.
