I've been thinking a lot about the cost of AI lately... All the big tech companies are integrating AI services into their products but few are willing to pay for them. The cost of AI is significant, but the market isn't really there. I think they will pay for the AI by jacking up the prices of their base products. See YouTube TV for example:

I agree, only a few small handful of companies will be able to absorb loss to make incremental improvements for AI.

Microsoft, Facebook, and Google.

Almost everyone else will drop it.

Even Open AI is struggling to operate.
