1 should it ask foer web bases app eg cashu.me or apps only
2. npub.cash which opens in the browser generates qr token but does not show a code or button to copy so I am not sure how to go around it. Grateful for further suggestion .

That would indeed be awesome, however your browser / system decides how to handle „cashu:“ links. You can copy the token manually by using the copy button, or selecting the token inside the text input and copy it

safari browser on iPhone show qr code only no text and no copy button will double check again but for some reason npub.cash stopped working - dark page with info : loading
Are you using nsec bunker / nip-46? Try clearing the cache.
Claiming on Cashu shouldn’t show a qr code. Just text and buttons. Animated QRs coming next week 🤙
I cleared the cache; it helped me log in with nsec.the app, but only for the first opening; it stopped working again - loading communique only.
If I want to send ecash from cashu wallet it generates a token but iOS npub.cash does not offer an option to enter this code. Instead there is an option to generate the invoice by selecting send button. Thi generates qr code only. I think I am a little too early in its development phase. Will try I. Few days time.
Make sure to approve the signing requests in nsec.app when you open the app, or give it privileges to sign automatically. Npub.cash is built on nip-98 and every request will require a signature from your nsec.bunker
With Cashu the sender generates the code. In npub.cash click on „Cashu“, copy the token, go into your Cashu wallet and paste it there

You are not really supposed to „send“ to npub.cash yourself. It acts as Lightning address for you. Like a post box for payments
Agree. But could be of use in the scenario : in case my standard noncustodial transfer reach mutiny first and then I want to move to npub because it is empty and I want to zap from etc. Also cashu.me does not have a fixed incoming or outcoming addressable I correct
