A 2,000-year-old Roman bath remained a destination for rest and recreation for many kings and leaders of the Roman armies to recover from diseases by exploiting the hot and cold groundwater flowing from the ground in the bath’s multiple swimming pools, which is still used today in its unique location deep in the Aures Mountains in the Roman city of Mascola.
