I tried. It’s a bad look when the example content in the “explore” tab doesn’t even begin to load. I left the daemon running for a week.

My friend on shitcoin project tried using ipfs and was an epic fail.

I’d like to believe that a distributed file system would work/would be cool, but it seems plagued with the same issues every p2p system has.

Yea. Upload your IPFS as usual. But pull from their CDN.

It works if you're cool with waiting 3 minutes to find someone on the DHT who has your file.

Read this a while ago. Hits the nail on the head. Fiatjaf basically wrote a book on why IPFS (and IPNS) is garbage.
