It would be cool to have a fixed length token. I was experimenting wish a format where I could generate the corresponding pubkey for any amount so you needed only one proof. If you include the keyset id and the signed proof that’s all you need.

I hacked a branch of the Cashu mint so so I could mint any arbitrary amount. I was told it was a bad idea so I stopped. But the meshtastic limitation sounds like a cool use case.

I can see why it could be a bad idea for several reasons, but maybe we could limit those downsides to be used over mesh

Maybe same way we lock a token to an npub, we could lock a token to the devices pubkey

Again reticulum imo is better in so many ways
