I prefer it to one where I know I am wrong. I also prefer it to one where sanity and logic have been ignored, trampled, or left behind. It is very hard to argue where A does not equal A, but rather B with a random sprinkling of C.

This may be something lost in translation. I would PREFER to attack a person in very specific circumstances. Fairness isn't an issue here, just preference. It is unfair that I am leaping to an assumption of translation issues. But I did it anyway, hope you don't feel too attacked.
Ok, fairness is not important, but truth is, because science is based on truth. It has been science that has saved man from living in caves and has brought him to this point, science has been a kind of angel of salvation for man.
