good on this crew for trying to bring more freedom to the world. its more than i'm doing. i hope they succeed and im rooting for anyone with such good faith intentions.

if they are going to make it, they ought to tighten up the product and messaging. the messaging has seemed like they are thinking too big too early, and trying to check too much off the freedom tech wish list.

they have some well know bitcoin VCs who should help with this but it has to come from Obis intuition (assuming he is the CEO?)

as he explains the offering i imagine a venn diagram of all the nostr using, bitcoin loving, custodial tolerant, matrix users.

its a small list.

even still, ill be playing with the beta when it it's released and, no, i won't call it the bravo, ha.

If Fedi already relies on nostr identities, it would probably be easiest to message over Nostr like with nostr:nprofile1qqsth7fr42fyvpjl3rzqclvm7cwves8l8l8lqedgevhlfnamvgyg78spz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduq3qamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3wwa5kuegpz4mhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejqj9swg4 or 0xChat.

And get a readable identifier using NIP5. It would be indistinguishable from the enduser perspective, you could get fault tolerance if every guardian runs a relay so no single matrix server can go down and users could even keep their identity if they leave a federation and move to a new one (just point a new NIP5 to an existing npub)
