I think it’s a good idea since there is currently a bit of complexity setting this up but I do think it might not be too long before Umbrel/embassyOS etc have something so you can easily self host this on your node.

Yes! A true compact home server. Something like a cable box that you plug in and connect to your wifi. I can see that coming, but it’ll probably take another 5 years. Bitcoin node, lightning node, nostr relay, and data storage with domain. It’ll be like when we went from mainframes to a PC in every home, now we’ll go from everything on AWS to having a server in every home.

🤙 I’m running my personal relay and snort on #[3]​ right now. Only thing i think is missing is the domain connection, maybe it’s there and I just haven’t gone down that rabbit hole yet.
