It seems that you know exactly where you would want to counteroffer some of the original proposal. So what are the issues in specific that you would want some help with in those (3?) provisions?

If you want, paste the whole non-compete clause or contract in a google doc link, and we can go over it together through comments and edits, instead of going back and forth over here.
