It's a long shot and I really don't like asking strangers for so much help but I'm going to need to use about $800 out of my rent to pay for my dog who has developed pyometra to be spayed. Giving her up isn't an option as it's not fair to the dog or us, especially my kids. Does anybody know of any alternatives to GoFundMe?

In the UK there are charitable vets such as the PDSA and RSPCA who can offer help with costs... Might be an alternative wherever your located.
United States. My State used to offer vouchers to spay if you couldn't afford it but they don't seem to anymore.
I know how hard it is, I had to sell a good chunk of my stack to afford some dental surgery for my dog. I hope everything turns out okay 🫂💜
