Until now, I was using Google Photos to sync photos from my phone. NO MORE! I downloaded everything from there, and deleted every last picture synced since 2008! Another step towards De-Googling.

Another big step is to host your own Nextcloud server, in your home if possible.

Photosync is on of many features Nextcloud offers.

Thanks! I looked at their site and it seems more enterprise oriented than home. Is that right?

It is both home and enterprise. It's perfect for our family with all our kids.

If you need the high performance backend for enterprise, then they sell you the service.
