The updated notifications experience is causing me to do this new behavior that feels like "looking back" or checking on a note's performance. 👀

How many other folks are posting a note and then tapping on the notifications tab afterwards? ❓

My concern is that it's taking away from actively engaging in new conversations by creating a gravity well of dopamine-laced reactions and such. ‼️

yeah. maybe need to reduce the amount of reaction notifications, maybe not show reactions to notes you were tagged in

It's def got a grabbiness to it - good to experiment so as to not create performance artists, but to foster the kind of engagement from a couple months ago

I'm really in favor of this - it would be good to identify a really clear job to be done for the notifications tab - perhaps that could provide some clarity on how it should appear and what it needs to do for a damus customer
