Interesting observations

I have a hobby of you will, to look for patterns of behavior. habits formed over many years in corrections.

I take the same route to work everyday. I leave the same time everyday.

Over the last 6 months on a particular narrow road three cars, always three different cars would meet me on this road. The drivers always manage to time our passing at a culvert (three on the road) where I am forced to stop to allow their passing. I also noted that drivers liked different in dress and beard or no beard but enough alike to get me wondering if three are the same small group of drivers.

Solution, I started randomly varying my route.

when I returned to the narrow road, viola, no cars at all for several days, then the pattern returns.

I again drove this route a few weeks and three cars would meet me. I varied my speed and the drivers would vary speed to match, intercepting me at the culverts.

So I wrapped my cellphone in heavy duty foil to act as a Faraday cage. Blocks radio frequencies. Left a little early. There they were at the far end of the narrow road, bunched up like in a huddle. The drivers had a suprised look on their face.

Now several days have gone passed. I leave my normal time and route for work. I meet no one.
