Don't mind me, I'm just sitting here sending eCash directly to my nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm wallet from the eNuts app on my phone that had been slowly gathering up money from people sending me eCash on nostr.

Then, my Alby extension warned me that I had surpassed my wallet's "safe limit" so I generated an invoice from MyNodeBTC's Thunderhub LN app and transferred 5K sats directly to my node.

#LightningDoesntWork and #eCashIsntHelpful. Whatever shall we do?

So if you run your own lightning node, you do have self custody, but you can still lose your money, right? What makes the limit safe or not? I’m not sophisticated enough yet to run my own nodes.
