I can picture nostr:npub1v0lxxxxutpvrelsksy8cdhgfux9l6a42hsj2qzquu2zk7vc9qnkszrqj49 shipping Snort directly to relays. There is no domain anymore. You just hit the Nostr address and the last version of Snort loads up.

Whoa... Your OS is just a pseudo-browser-nostr-client that can fetch note:
All other nostr clients and apps are PWAs that the OS can retrieve from notes. Those PWAs can be their own nostr implementations or rely on the OS's built in nostr functionality and just display/interact with notes in specialized ways. It's notes all the way down.
